SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Last Updated: 11 August 2026

At Her Next, we are committed to getting your order to you safely and efficiently.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed and delivered when you shop with Her Next.

By placing an order through our online store, you acknowledge and agree to the delivery terms below, subject always to your rights under applicable South African law.

1. DELIVERY METHOD

All Her Next orders are delivered using Aramex door-to-door courier services.

Your order will be delivered to the delivery address provided during checkout.

Please ensure that the delivery address and contact details provided when placing your order are accurate and complete.

2. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME

Orders are estimated to be delivered within:

8–11 BUSINESS DAYS

Delivery times are estimates and are calculated from the date your order has been processed and handed over for courier delivery.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.

The estimated delivery period is provided as a guide and is not a guarantee of a specific delivery date unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

During periods of unusually high order volumes, public holidays, promotional campaigns, adverse weather, operational disruptions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control, delivery may take longer than the estimated period.

3. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are processed after successful payment has been received.

Please allow reasonable processing time before your order is handed to our courier partner.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive applicable tracking information where available.

The delivery period begins once the order has been processed and handed over for courier delivery, rather than necessarily from the exact time the order is placed.

4. COURIER DELAYS

Her Next uses an independent third-party courier service, Aramex, for delivery.

Once an order has been correctly handed over to the courier, certain aspects of the delivery process are outside Her Next's direct control.

Her Next will therefore not be responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • courier network disruptions;

  • courier operational delays;

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer;

  • failed delivery attempts caused by the recipient being unavailable;

  • severe weather conditions;

  • natural disasters;

  • public holidays;

  • strikes or industrial action;

  • civil unrest;

  • road closures;

  • accidents;

  • unforeseen logistical disruptions;

  • delays caused by third-party service providers;

  • technical or system failures affecting the courier network; or

  • other events that Her Next could not reasonably prevent or control.

Where a delay occurs, Her Next will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer and communicate with the courier where appropriate.

This provision does not exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

5. DELIVERY DATE DISCLAIMER

The stated 8–11 business day delivery period is an estimated delivery timeframe and not a guaranteed delivery date, unless Her Next has expressly agreed to a guaranteed delivery date with the customer.

We recommend that customers take the estimated delivery period into consideration before placing an order, particularly where the product is required for a specific event, occasion, trip or deadline.

Her Next cannot guarantee delivery by a particular date unless such date has been expressly confirmed in writing by Her Next.

6. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR ORDER IS DELAYED?

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us at:

hernextza@gmail.com

Please include:

  • your full name;

  • order number;

  • delivery address; and

  • tracking number, if available.

Her Next will investigate the status of the shipment and, where reasonably possible, liaise with Aramex regarding the delayed delivery.

Customers are requested to allow reasonable time for courier investigations and responses.

7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is reasonably available to receive the order at the nominated delivery address.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because:

  • nobody is available to receive the parcel;

  • the address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • the recipient cannot be contacted;

  • access to the delivery location is unavailable; or

  • the customer refuses or fails to accept delivery,

the courier may make additional delivery attempts or follow its applicable procedures.

Any additional delivery charges resulting directly from incorrect information or actions attributable to the customer may be charged to the customer where legally permissible.

This does not apply where the failed delivery was caused by Her Next or the courier.

8. INCORRECT DELIVERY INFORMATION

It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery information at checkout.

Her Next is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional delivery costs resulting from:

  • incorrect addresses;

  • incomplete addresses;

  • incorrect postal codes;

  • incorrect telephone numbers;

  • incorrect recipient information; or

  • failure to update Her Next regarding a change in delivery information before dispatch.

If an order has not yet been dispatched, customers should contact us as soon as possible at hernextza@gmail.com if they need to correct their delivery details.

We cannot guarantee that delivery information can be changed after an order has been dispatched.

9. TRACKING

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided to the customer after dispatch.

Tracking information is provided by the courier and may take some time to update after the parcel has been collected.

Tracking updates are controlled by the courier and Her Next cannot guarantee the frequency or timing of individual tracking updates.

10. LOST OR MISSING PARCELS

If tracking indicates that a parcel has been delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer should contact Her Next at hernextza@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request additional information to assist with the investigation.

Her Next may liaise with Aramex to investigate the delivery status.

Where the loss is attributable to Her Next or its delivery arrangements, Her Next will provide the remedy required by applicable South African law.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights.

11. DAMAGED PARCELS

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the parcel and its packaging before opening it where reasonably possible.

If the product inside has been damaged, contact us at hernextza@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible and provide:

  • your order number;

  • photographs of the outer packaging;

  • photographs of the shipping label;

  • photographs of the damaged product; and

  • any other relevant information requested by Her Next.

Please retain the original packaging until the matter has been resolved.

12. DELIVERY RISK

Her Next will remain responsible for the goods in accordance with applicable South African consumer law until delivery has taken place as contemplated by the law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to transfer statutory risk to the consumer prematurely or to exclude any consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.

13. DELIVERY TO THIRD PARTIES

If a customer requests delivery to an address where another person is authorised to receive the parcel on the customer's behalf, delivery to that nominated address or recipient may constitute delivery in accordance with the applicable delivery arrangements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the nominated recipient is authorised to accept the parcel.

14. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Unless expressly stated otherwise on our website, Her Next currently offers delivery within South Africa only.

International orders are not available unless specifically confirmed by Her Next in writing.

15. DELIVERY AND CANCELLATION RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy removes or limits any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights available under South African law.

Where applicable legislation provides a consumer with a right to cancel a transaction, claim a refund or exercise another remedy because of a failure to deliver as agreed, that statutory right will apply.

16. FORCE MAJEURE / EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Her Next will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where the failure or delay results from circumstances that are genuinely outside our reasonable control and could not reasonably have been prevented or avoided.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation:

  • natural disasters;

  • severe weather;

  • flooding;

  • fires;

  • civil unrest;

  • war;

  • strikes or industrial action;

  • government restrictions;

  • road closures;

  • major transport disruptions;

  • widespread courier disruptions;

  • telecommunications or infrastructure failures; or

  • other unforeseeable events beyond our reasonable control.

Where such an event occurs, Her Next will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the disruption and resume normal service as soon as reasonably possible.

This clause does not remove any mandatory rights or remedies provided to consumers under South African law.

17. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CUSTOMERS

Although Her Next uses an independent courier service, we do not expect customers to resolve courier problems on their own.

If you experience a delivery problem, please contact us at:

hernextza@gmail.com

We will reasonably assist with investigating the matter and, where appropriate, liaise with the courier on your behalf.

18. SOUTH AFRICAN CONSUMER LAW

This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

South African law places obligations on suppliers regarding delivery, including delivery at the agreed place and, where applicable, within the agreed period.

Accordingly, nothing in this policy should be interpreted as meaning that Her Next can avoid a statutory obligation simply by referring to a courier delay.

Where a statutory consumer right applies, that right will prevail over any conflicting provision of this policy.
